Past Progressive
This tense is used to talk about actions that were happening at a specific moment in the past. These actions were in progress and could have been interrupted by another action or simply happening during a particular time.

En la parte donde mencionan que son oraciones que pueden ser interrumpidas por otra NO corresponde al pasado progresivo, corresponde al conector WHEN y esa descripción NO va aqui, deben borrarla. Además deben acomodar la contracción abajo del auxiliar WAS - WERE.
